It looks like you are using a 64-bit ODBC driver. Are you using a 32-bit unixODBC driver manager? That would explain why the driver manager can not "see" 64-bit the shared library.

Subject: [unixODBC-support] [01000][unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/sap/D101/libodbcHDB.so' : file not found

Hi,

I have got the below error when testing on AIX 5.3

[01000][unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/sap/D101/libodbcHDB.so' : file not found

I have run ldd and all the files are present on server. Please assist in fixing this issue.

oracle at essbidv5:/usr/sap/D101> ldd /usr/sap/D101/libodbcHDB.so
/usr/sap/D101/libodbcHDB.so needs:
         /usr/lib/libpthread.a(shr_xpg5_64.o)
         /usr/lib/libC.a(shr_64.o)
         /usr/lib/libC.a(shr2_64.o)
         /usr/lib/libC.a(shr3_64.o)
         /usr/lib/libC.a(ansi_64.o)
         /usr/lib/libc.a(shr_64.o)
         /unix
         /usr/lib/libC.a(ansicore_64.o)
         /usr/lib/libC.a(shrcore_64.o)
         /usr/lib/libcrypt.a(shr_64.o)
oracle at essbidv5:/usr/sap/D101> echo $LIBPATH
/oracle/product/10.2.0/db/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/sap:/usr/vacpp/lib:/usr/sap/D101:/usr/lpp:/usr/ccs
