[unixODBC-support] Does unix odbc driver manager reads attributes like UserName, PWD, blockfornrows from odbc.ini file and pass to odbc driver?

I was trying to set userid(UID, UserName) and passwd(PWD, password) in
odbc.ini file and was expecting unix odbc driver manager to pass these
attributes to IBM CLI ODBC Driver. But it does not seem to work. Does Unix
odbc driver manager read attributes not specific to driver manager like
userid, passwd, blockfornrows etc from odbc.ini and pass to the odbc
drivers like IBM CLI ODBC Driver? or is it expected that ODBC driver should
read these parameters? IBM CLI ODBC driver is got a separate config file
db2cli.ini(not odbc.ini) from which it reads the attributes.
