Thanks for your response.

I had verified the details of Trace and Trace File which were already set and also understand from SA they had followed the steps advised in the IBM website for the installation and compilation.

Is there any other method to test the connectivity like client ODBC-DSN connectivity of the installed UNIXODBC.

But you will need to add and test a db2 driver to unixODBC to do as you want. Its available from IBM and there are details as to how to install it in unixODBC on theIBM site.
