[unixODBC-support] how to update UnixODBC?

Hi,

I have v.2.2.11-16 installed from Ubuntu Karmic repositories.

 From the Oracle forum, it is suggested to update UnixODBC to last 
version, 2.2.14 to solve some issues.

The problem is that Debian distros use a different folder schema, and 
only RPMs are available.

How can I update UnixODBC without making a mess?
