[unixODBC-support] ok from commandline but not from codeblocks

Again, I would use strace to see if its trying to load a lib but 
failing. You may need to try setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH, or adding to 
/etc/ld.so.conf or /etc/ld/so/conf.d and running ldconfig
