Here are the 4 lines surrounding line 579.

maintainer-clean: maintainer-clean-am
        -rm -rf ./$(DEPDIR)
        -rm -f Makefile
maintainer-clean-am: distclean-am maintainer-clean-generic

Line 579 is the second line.
