[unixODBC-support] Generic ODBC driver help

I saw the ODBC-ODBC bridge, but it looked like I had to have a windows box in the mix. The ODBC server and I want a generic ODBC client for linux. The problem is that I'm very new to the ODBC stuff. We have lots of expience with many other connection methods that don't revolve around MS products...
