[unixODBC-announce] Can unixODBC support oracle?

hello,guys:
		
        I am a newbie of unixODBC,even database.

        I wanna connect remote oracle database from linux client and I want to use unixODBC to complete this work.Since I am a newbie,I don't know for sure that unixODBC can do this work very well.I want to ask you guys:

        1.Whether the unixODBC can support remote oracle well or not?
        2.What should I install in linux clinet(redhat 9.0) besides unixODBC and oracle-driver and Qt?Oracle client for linux?How to install it?
 
        Any helps are appreciated!
